Shinanagans in WonderLand

Hey Guys! I'm really loving the new layout for blogging posts, so much more space to type! I still think the picture posting methods could use a little pick me up, like have the' square' function on the photos like on word haha, would make my life easier fo sure!

I've had a very eventful week! I've reached the end of another college year, and have been able to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee with the rest of my town! I also watched Snow White and the Huntsman + hung out with the lovelie Tara ! 
And guess what, I'm feeling way better! I honestly think i'm on the road to recovery.. except the fact that I couldn't sleep last night & only got 4 hours sleep, but that was a one off..I hope hehe.

SnowWhite & the Huntsman

Went to see this film with some of my makeshift family on wednesday, I didn't realise it was Chris Hemsworth during the film! I went to Samu afterwards and said, 'hey he reminds me of thor!' of course the appropriate answer was ' yeah, that is him' ;L 

The Review: My thoughts on the movie are a mixed bag, i thought it was ok, I loved the wonderlandish forest they created for her and the huntsman to hide in. The dwarf's lol so funny, congrats to the writer for the childish humor ;L I'm no actor, but some of the bits with the elderly dwarf i was cringing a bit and the true love bit caught me off guard. but altogether, it was an ok movie. To me its one of those movies where you'd think it was ok but you wouldn't watch it again haha

We had time before the movie so we decided to take some photos of our outfits of the day...

Film List: May 2012

Films I've been wanting to see this year!

Dr.Seuss' The LORAX:  I love my animations haha, It was out a while ago but i never saw it in the cinemas ;/ my aim is to watch this somehow asap! What attracted me to this movie was the trailer which i stumbled upon on youtube one day...i mean, blow up bushes? jelly vegetables?! having to pay for your oxygen?!?! Crazy shizz it helps that Taylor Swift and Mr. High School Musical are the voices for the cute couple in it. I also loved the bit at the end of the trailer where the Lorax is like ' Thats a woman?! 0_0' HA

The Avengers: I've actually already gone to see their movie but I wanted to post about it anyway, but in as few a words as possible, it was AWESOME! It humor was so witty and funny, something i wouldn't expect in such a serious (or so I thought) action movie, and the action shots! Oh my word they were so coool.

 I loved the building of the friendships between the avengers throughout the movie, expecially between Bruce and Tony, pulled at my heart strings haha. I saw this movie in 3D but if i'm honest, nothing eally came out at me as i wanted. Sure things were in 3D (the buildings..Coulson's head) but when a flying evil monster would come at me, it would be ruined when parts of the body would be cut off from the screen. But altogether, bloody awesome movie. WELDONE!

The Dark Knight Rises: I am looking forward to seeing  this movie very much! I wouldn't say i was a die hard batman fan, i've only watched the Christian Bale movies (where i totally fell in love The Joker mwahahha) but im mega looking forward to seeing Tom Hardy be a bad guy haha. The trailer looks promising so hopefully this movie will be a BLAST!

PROMETHEUS: YES, Prequal to the Alien films this movie seems promising to sci-fi horror lovers! Its has a lot of advertisement in the UK so far, catching the attention of loads of people who don't even like alien films. The trailer looks good, i've watched it on tv too many times haha 'not a map, an invitation' <-- starts to get annoying after a while, I can't place her accent at all ;L Michael Fassbender, my crush will be starring as David the robot hehehehe

The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey  Im a Lord of the Rings closet fan hehe, been wanting the one ring for a while!:O ill be interested to see how Watson does as Bilbo Baggins, ah so excited!!

Tadaa, The films i'm eager to watch so far! As you can tell, i'm really into action films haha. Until next time! I'm waiting for photos of my weekend to post for your guys, lots and lots of icecream!

Circle Lens Review : Crystal.I Hazel by Dueba.

Hey all!

Heres a review on some circle lens I bought from lens village

Lensvillage have a simple layout which is easy to navigate. You cann pay via paypal!~ (whoop!)


Shipping: 5/5 It took 2 weeks for my package to arrive which is within the time limit they specified so coodles to them!
Communication: 5/5 I didn't really need to contact them since the transition went quite smoothly and I encountered no problems with perchasing my circle lens :)
Pricing: 5/5 By far the cheapest pair i had found on the internet at the time. It was around 6 pound not including shipping.
Packaging: 5/5 the lenses came in a protective card case with free lense containers! Which was then encased in a bubble wrapped package! View packaging here

Review

 



Enlargement: As you can see theres quite a huge difference in the size of my eye when i put my the circle lenses on.
I have gotten a few comments (mainly my sister) that i look bug eyed with them on ;L
My natural diameter of my iris is 11mm. Whereas the diameter of the Crystal.I is 14.5mm



 

Flash: The lens light up quite well with the flash but you get a sort of yellowy glow to your eye like a vampire haha

Daylight: In the daylight you can definately see the detail of the Crystal.I hazel lens! I think Daylight suits this lens better as you don't get the yellowy glow like you do with flash, it also shows up so much more nicely! Great photo taking lenses haha

Colour: 4/5 I like the pattern and the colour but its a shame it doesn't show up in all lighting categories. In the night, the colours kind of blends into each other. Up close, it does look a bit pixelated so if your going for that natural look i wouldn't recommend them. I would recommend the GEO honey wing for that. ;)


Comfort: 5/5 I have actually worn these for 12+ hours and still felt fine, until i took them out and there was a faint pink ring around my eye D; Of course the recommended wear for circle lenses is 8 hours but i can definately say that these lenses are very comfortable indeed! There have been a few times where it caused discomfort in my left eye but that was because i had the lens in the wrong way round haha, so folks if you ever feel discomfort make sure you don't have it on the wrong way round! ^^

Enlargement: 5/5 I think i can safely say that these circle lens enlarge my eye enough for me from the above photo haha.

Good ol times~

From the title you might have guessed that this post may be about past experiences with friends/family etc. it is in fact about...a newspaper clipping! I was trying to find my calculator and came across an old clipping from 2007!
When i was younger i really wanted a cat, so then i came across a section in the newspaper where they were advertising rspca cats to adopt. i wanted this really cute black and white cat called Squidge 'i remembered him as smudge but hey, cant argue with the newspaper clip' I must have knicked the page and kept it in some books lol
aah, brings back good memories in these stressful times :)

Smells like Salt.

I wonder if its just me but..does your nose ever catch a of wiff of sea salt on people? The exact same smell on loads of different people. Not all the time mind, just randomly.
From my experience (hehe) I've found that the people who smell of sea salt are usually the people who haven't washed recently ;L or at least their clothes haven't been washed.Which was what brought me to my current thought pattern! I was tidying up my room (shoving clothes in the wash..stuffing stuff inside my draws) and I came across this ancient pile of clothes i haven't touched in yonks, picked up a cute red top and BOOM. smelt of sea salt, its kind of musky like a cologne. It doesn't smell all that bad.. but definately not fresh and dandy.
From my research (HAHA) I've found a higher percentage of males carrying the sea salt scent, however. Males usually sweat more than women and so the salt smell probably comes from there. (>.<) Odd blog post RIGHT?
MEMORIES:
I thought I would write this down before I forget it due to stress overload in exam period or something. G.G and I were casually walking H.dindin down to her law class, things were good and dandy. Dropped H.dindin in law. Waved to Harley then went to wave at Samu through the window. The next bit was a blur of movement for me but somehow G.G and I were looking opposite directions and both turned at the same time, only to bump into each other proper movie style! The bash was so powerful I was thrown some way off into the corridor haha, I was laughing so hard I needed the toilet ;L ;L Aaah so funnay. Someone was apparantly taking a photo of someone at that opportune moment so I hope they got us in the background bashing into each other, ^^.

It was Samu's Birthday the other day! Happy Birthday Samu! Hope you enjoyed your goods and the company ^^, perhaps I should write a blog post on it? To a certain person who may read this blog post, Don't worry. I promise i'll change your name XD Decided! ( went to anagram a certain someones name) I'll call you Krona!

Shopping is lurve

Yaay! Went shopping with DLLY and YIYI! Pretty cold in the uk at the moment, but we dealt with it!

For lunch we went to Wagamama for some grub ;) Service there was pretty good. A waitress would pop round and ask if everything was ok and such ^^ It was really busy for a sunday though, guess everyone wanted something more exotic than roast dinner haha.

Perchases + Gifts of the day!

Lovely Dlly gave me some eylure vivid lace eyelashes! They are so cute, can't wait to try them on and show you guys!

She also got me a cute ring (not pictured) and some corn pocky like snacks?! Those were sooo yummy, will defo hunt for them when i next go back to HK ;)

Other things i bought today were some shoes from urban outfitters! Such beauties! My small 5t4 frame raised to 5ft8 with these! Lav! But, i wouldn't recommend wearing these when its raining or on uneven surfaces, something i found out about the other day ;L After walking in them awhile, the shoes started to rub against the soles of my feet ); but thankfully no blisters formed ;) I guess no pain no gain!

Print boot slippers from Primark: for my cold feet in the winter, but after wearing them for a few days..my feet are still cold. *FAIL*

Sea Vegetable Soap:  I smelled it once..then i was like, I must buy! So far i've only used it once so i can't quite judge it yet. But in that one time i used it, my sister said i smelt like a boy afterwards (¬ ¬)
